Gari was the first to respond to my enquiries when I was doing my research for a trip to Sri Lanka. Thushi was very responsive and patient in tailoring the itinerary to my liking. Despite having made multiple changes with multiple requests, Thushi took onboard all my concerns and assured me that everything will be taken care of. Thushi gave me the confidence that my trip in Sri Lanka will be nothing short of amazing. Despite a few hiccups with the accommodation, she did not hesitate to follow up and rectify the situation even when it was a public holiday in Sri Lanka. My trip was indeed nothing short of amazing simply because of responsible staff like Thushi and my awesome Guide (Rukshan). They have really gone above and beyond their duty and made it their priority to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

My trip was carefree because of Gari Travels. The entire experience was exclusive and I came home feeling refreshed. I cannot stop telling my friends about the great times I've had in Sri Lanka. It was only made possible because I went with a well-established travel agent like Gari. My friends are now interested in coming to Sri Lanka to experience what I've experienced. I planned my family trip to Sri Lanka since Sep-16 for my trip in Jan-17. I started to look at Googles for tour company based in Sri Lanka directly since I observed price from Malaysia tour company was high. When I started to send emails to few selected companies, GARI Tours was the first one to respond. I asked for many amendments (more than 10 times) and every time I received the respond very fast and in positive manner. Thushi especially never even once tried to delay or showed her frustration on my very frequent and demanding quotes.This was the salient point why I continued with Gari and finally I selected Gari.

When we arrived at Sri Lanka, the staff of GARI welcomed us and rest of the tour was executed as per plan. In fact we asked many changes in the plan and Gari staff obliged and tried their best to make our trip a memorable one

I selected GARI based on their experience, quality website, offering the tour I wanted with the ability to take it privately and customize if necessary. That is my standard approach, but the final selection is based on the speed and quality of response. Here GARI scored with a written response the same day and a personal telephone call the following morning. After that booking etc went smoothly.

The one improvement that they could make would be to give an indication of the cost of entry fees on their website as these were not included in the tour price and came as a bit of a shock when we came to pay. From the Malaysian point of view, Sri Lankan entry fees are expensive.

In the 10 days we got a good look at the country and saw a variety of attractions. The very experienced driver was extremely safe and courteous to other road users throughout although I believe he could have provided more information than he did to enhance our trip.

The choice of hotels was good and met our requirements in full.

To conclude GARI are an accommodating company, easy to deal with and a friendly approach
